you would think that i can be pretty focused on what i do when i'm doing it,
but you're wrong....
'cause by the time i remembered that i was gonna blog about baking,
the meringues was already prepared and popped into the oven +___+
but the procedure was simple:
beat 4 egg-whites with 300g caster sugar until fluffy.
oh,and this is the second batch.
(first batch hangus XP )
so with the meringues baking, i had to start making the cream filling.
firstly~prepare the strawberries and blend~~~
my my~doesn't the blender look gorgeous...
.
so after blending,add lemon juice...
there weren't any lemons in Sunshine Farlim,so i substitute it with lime~
add satu biji lime punya juice...
continue blending.
then you have your puree:
sift~
then voila,you have your smooth strawberry+lime puree.
(it tastes awesome by the way)

then add them to some whipping cream and whip away~
(important:when you whip cream,make sure the temperature is COLD...
or you'll fail miserably like me. i had to add more cream and beat again =___=)
done....tadaa!
then pipe them into your cooled meringues~
finito!

you know..i tried to follow exactly what the recipe said,
but there were too much sugar involved,
then i failed at whipping the cream and had to add MORE CREAM than indicated,
and then i burned my first batch of meringues since it says 'bake for 30minutes' which was in fact too long,
and i realized that the whipped cream isn't going to hold two meringue pieces together and be kept into the fridge.
so i improvised :)
oh and i don't have a piping bag,used a plastic instead,since we have some new and unused ones at home..

by the way,
meringues are technically marshmallows that are further baked in oven..
sweet, crispy outside and fluffy inside.
