sounds desperate,
but you don't know the feeling until you've actually tried it.
.
i never knew how relaxing this is.
how everything goes according to plan,
the complete freedom to choose where you want to go,
no need to worry about how long you want to stay in a shop,
no guilt as you line up at the cashier paying a bomb for all that little trinkets you like, while your friends gather up at the door, waiting to leave since 5minutes ago,
no rush,whatsoever.
and you can leave anytime you feel like it without worrying if that's okay with your friends.
.
months ago,
in an outing with friends,
i ended up going to the movies alone.
'cause they liked Phua Chu Kang,
and i was more of a romantic-comedy fan.
so i watched Going the Distance by myself, surrounded with a few other couples in the hall.
.
i can't lie and say that watching rom-coms alone is totally normal,
but as the movie rolls,
i actually started to like being in that situation.
nobody talks in the movies,so even if your friends were there,it won't even matter.
it's like there not even there anyway~
i wouldn't trade this away with spending 6bucks to watch some low-rated comedy with my friends.
(no offense)
.
after the movie i started wondering what it'll be like to go out by myself,
some quality time alone...
and now,two months after my room got demolished,
alone-time is what i need.
and that's what i did today.
.
i came out of the house at 12.30pm,
stopped by USM for 5minutes(Bank Islam ATM :D),
and by the time i arrived at Queensbay,it's 1.14pm.
then i got my Fast Five ticket.
.
it's nice, not having to wait for anyone to join you to get the tickets...
and risk the chance to watch the next show when someone arrived later than the time we agreed on.
i got a pretty nice seat for the movie by the way :)
C07.
who knew people have issues with sitting right beside strangers in public,
that they just have to leave a space blank in between them...
owh well, more benefit for others like me then.
too bad for them though, since i took their 'empty-seat-of-security'. :P
.
shopped a little before the movie,
and got ripped-off by Kodak.
RM28 per box of instant films,
i paid 9bucks more than i'm supposed to for 3boxes,'kay!
but fine.
i'm in a good mood,
relaxed,
have my mp3 playing the songs i want to hear,
i'll let that pass.
.
shopped at Momoe before going home.
i love that shop...
the bags are so cute,
the accessories looks awesome,
they have all the little things i like and wanted but couldn't find anywhere that has them.
awesome shop.
i <3 Momoe.
.
the drive home was nice as well,
it was 5pm,but strangely no traffic jam,
not as bad as it usually is,
so the drive home only took me....25minutes?
and not to mention the nice songs Flyfm was playing...
driving home was heaven.
smooth~
.
sometimes i just want to go out, but don't feel like talking to anyone,
nor have anything to talk about.
.
but long story short,
this is going down into my list of 'Things to do When You Have Some Time Off'.
solo-outing...self-dating...call it whatever you want,
i give it 5stars,out of 5.
ME TOO!!!
ReplyDeleteI prefer going out alone too! :D
Well.. about the pck movie..
Haha.. Yah. totally agree! hahaha.
