2weeks ago,i started moving my stuff back into my room,and i thought of showing you the sum of books i own(not necessarily read till the last page) over the past 12years:
see,i really don't read a lot.
i do realize that i have quite a big amount of fiction books:
a fair amount of non-fiction:
some magazines, year books..
and a huge book with landmarks on it,'cause i realized that i probably won't go to a lot of places before i die..so at least i read about them...
sadly only one educational book,if you don't count my current chemistry textbooks lo:

then i looked at my old report cards and stuff...

as you know(or not), i'm afraid of the dark..
well,not when there are people around la..only those times when i'm alone.
i've always imagined turning around and see a figure staring at me...
or if i'm lying down on my bed, i would have this creepy thought that if i open my eyes there will be a pair of eyes staring down at me.
no idea where i got that from,but i've been afraid of the dark ever since.
now that i've reach the age where sleeping in my parents' room isn't an option anymore,
night lamps in my room is the best solution i have.

oh and recently,i got a new kind of lamp: candle-light:
it used to be the cover/cup that goes over a bulb in one of our wall lamps at home...it came in a pair actually,but one day the bulb exploded in one of the cups..
and when my dad was taking them off the wall,the cup fell and broke...so we had only one of this left...
and since we can't use it as a wall lamp anymore,the cup automatically goes into my dad's Old-and-to-be-Antiques collection..and finally fell into my possession 'cause my dad has too much stuff already XP

ain't it pretty though ^^ like a glass lantern...

this lamp is the lamp i recently stole from my piano.
because it's so pretty and i can't stop staring at it whenever i play...

this is my lava lamp:
it's really pretty at night and sometimes when i can't sleep,i would stare at the floating red goo until my eyes got tired.
don't start thinking that i have a gazillion lamps in my room to help my cope with my fear alright..i only have 3 lamps.
and i only switch one on every night.
i'm not crazy k...

in the renovation plan this time,my dad gave me some extra space in my room.
a 3feet x 3feet corner...
it's a bit weird at first,'cause out of nowhere i had this small little space where nothing could fit in(my dad has some issues...)
had to brainstorm for a few days to think of what to do with it..
but look at it now:
i call it my Emo Corner.
my multi-purpose speakers,discman,some books,my plush toys, jewellery, and some other fancy things i like but has no practical use in my daily life....
those things are all there...
i could rest on my pillows and read...or listen to music...watch movies..write stuff...emo...

which girl could resist the power of larger-than-life soft toys anyway...it's impossible to not want to hug it.. O_O
i always look the best when the picture is blurred...
i got it 50% off during my school trip to an MPO(Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra) concert in 2007...everyone was looking at me in a weird way because most girls that went on the trip shopped for clothes and girly stuff...
i bought a PIG. XD

you know...the problem with having the room so nicely lit, the temperature just nice, there's some tropical fruit juice scent going around, and i smell like green apples(had some lotion on),
and the camera is FULLY charged...

it's times like this when i think:'if only my friends are here'
it gets a bit boring camwhoring alone...
maybe,one day,my drive to camwhore may exceed Daphne's level :P

and yes,i have a mickey mouse sorcerer's hat.
believe it or not,my mum bought it for herself during our trip to Hong Kong Disneyland...
she wore it the whole time we were in disneyland... ==
my brother and i got one half of mickey's glove ni ==' (ONE HALF YOU KNOW!ONLY ONE HALF!)
alright and a mickey crystal necklace the has an LED embedded so it glows...
i remembered everyone there was looking at us in awe when we walk around the theme park, because you can't find the necklace in any of the souvenir stores there....all you find is some over-priced plush toys and keychains..
we found it in some small little merchandise stall somewhere in the park by the way...
and after some time there was one tourist that came and ask my mum where we bought those awesome necklaces from...buahahaha~
but back to the hat, my mum suddenly lost interest in it when we got back to the hotel room that night...
and the switch box thingy broke months ago 'cause we forgot to take the batteries out...the switch turns on the little yellow LED lights on the hat..making it look like the hat is shining in the dark..
oh well,it's MINE now~~~
maybe i could ask my dad to find if hardware store sell those kind of circuit boxes...then we could replace it and make it glow again ^^
