i don't like to watch dramas...

especially when it involves this guy and this girl who are very good friends,
and the guy liked the girl but has never confessed to her,
then one day he decided to stop waiting for her and gone after another girl and confessed to the other girl,
and he started to date that other girl.

then the girls he's close friends with realized that she likes him more than a friend,
and told him her feelings,
only to have the guy said something like: i've waited for you for such a long time, but you've never seemed to notice my feelings for you,so i don't want to wait anymore.
and they can never be as close as they once were, before all this happened.

WHY THE HELL DID YOU WAIT FOR 8 YEARS WITHOUT A SINGLE WORD ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS FOR HER , BUT COULD EASILY GO OFF ASKING OTHER GIRLS OUT EFFORTLESSLY?????? what. the fuck. is wrong. with him.

i don't get why do some guys hang around the girls they like but never confessed even though they had all the chances they needed to say "i like you" or "would you go out on a date with me?"
instead of telling the girl off when she's actually making real effort in re-establishing their relationship.

i feel that if you're sure about your feelings, you should come clean and say it out, loud and proud,
or it'll never be known, and you'll end up hurting both parties: yourself, and the potential love of your life, so to speak.
i know that it'll sure hurt like hell if she doesn't feel the same way,
but at least you can eliminate the possibility of you waking up with her in your arms on some random morning in the future,
and move on.
BUT
what if she reciprocates your love towards her and has been waiting for you to be the bigger man and make the first move,
wouldn't your confession make her like you even more?

i have little to zero experience in this area,
but to me, feelings are the sort of things that can't be rated or distinguished by observations and assumptions.
it HAS to be informed.
because, after all, we're not the neurons in your brain, we don't know what you have in your mind.

how can you expect a complete different human being to interpret what you do exactly how you want it to be interpreted?

what i understand about women,
is that we tend doubt ourselves.
"why is he being so nice to me all of a sudden? is something wrong?"
"it's nice talking to him, but is this friendship, or something more?"
"i kinda like him, but what if i'm just another person he meets on a daily basis and i don't mean anything to him?"
......something like that.

the human race is already a complicated species to deal with.
honestly i don't understand why do the tv people like to make these things even more complicated and teach youngsters like us the wrong things.

it's so frustrating watching this kind of scenario, replayed over and over in different dramas..
